Dawn and I know there are many who face immeasurable levels of adversity with varying degrees of difficulty and severity.
Throughout life each of us who face adversity find ways around it, through it or over it.
Dawn did not use her physical impairment as a crutch but rather developed a sense of self worth by always taking a pride in her appearance, being nice to everyone she met – which resulted in them feeling all the better for meeting her.
Recently a card arrived which included the following words.
“Dawn you are a generous person, not materially of yourself or your time. Your consistency in treating all people exactly the same with respect and your helpfulness towards me is something I will always remember”.
This is simply Dawn’s story and to “Leave a Legacy”.
